Finally finished the proposal for my community project -- this is a year-long project for my third year of New Media. I chose to work with the "blog community" since I've been thinking about mapping the location of blog entries for a long time. Check it out.
Been reading The Telematic Embrace by Roy Ascott for my Interactivity and Networking class. Came across this interesting 1966 quote from Nam June Paik and thought, "Hey, that's my URL!"

I miss summer -- or at least the idea of a summer holiday since I'm desperately needing some air right now.
This is from Ward Island. After a 'hike' through poison ivy, Norina and I scored prime real estate with a log by the waves and kicked off our shoes to make this sand creation while fending off big, wet dogs.

If this guy made this while living in Regina, I *completely* understand where he got inspiration from.
